Dussasana Review – Dussasana Movie Review – Dussasana Rating, Telugu Movie Review: posani krihna murali likes to make some strong statements, with his films or otherwise, and the success one such film Operation Duryodhana gave him more leverage. The result is,Dusshaasana yet again with actor Srikanth. Here is the review…

Story:

A weird story, the tale begins with one man named Common Man (srikanth) and he is busy going about preaching about rights and how the politicians must live like common people. In this process, he slaps the ministers (kota, chalapathi rao, tanikella) and also kidnaps the chief minister's daughter (sanjjanaa) and a news correspondent Sunitha (tashu). Despite doing all this, he roams around freely on the streets preaching about justice and rules. A flashback is involved in this and it goes to show the helplessness of the system towards him. Who is this common man? What is his objective? Is he successful or not forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

The entire film is more of a political commentary on what happens in India, with some filmy drama. Infact the entire first half hardly has any story, but it keeps moving forward only on the basis of some issues we see daily on news channels. A tinge of story is added in the second half with a flash back, but that too is sloppily done, and the climax never seems to come easily. Overall, this is a major pain to the audience and it is impossible for the film to survive even for a week. The issues the movie deals with and the questions that are raised are meaningful and realistic, and hence the dialogue gets the maximum attention from the audiences. Posani cleverly uses the good deeds of former ChiefMinisters N.T.Rama Rao and Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy to keep his audiences interested in the proceedings. However, the solutions that the movie offers, sound impractical, and with no other technical aspect working for the film, Dusshaasana isn’t too easy to sit through.

Performances:

Srikanth delivers his lines the way Posani would, which is unnerving for a while. However, the man has an appeal of his own: watch it in the flashback scenes where he has to be all intense. Clearly, he deserves to be in more - and better - movies. The seniors - Kota, Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam and Chalapathi Rao - all have some interesting scenes and dialogues written for them. The girls, Sanjana and Tashu Kaushik, have very little to do other than wear some skimpy dresses and act like they are acting!

Tehnicalities:

Except for some weird camera angels and movements, and some stunts Dusshaasana can boast of no other great work in Technical departments. While there is no doubt about the honesty and the belief of Posani's feelings, lack of any aesthetic value makes the entire film very unidimensional. Art work is below par, and the entire film looks like a poor man’s film set. Background music, and an item number are too loud, while the song of lady Telangana singer is extremely loud. However, this particular song might as well get some attention from the front-benchers. The director has come up with a rotten storyline and while the presentation was poor, the narrative was irregular. The dialogues were crass, the script was written with only flaws and the screenplay was way below average.

Plus Points:

Srikanth Perormance

Minus points:

- Story and screenplay
- Lack of proper comedy
- Direction
- Poor technicalities

Final Word: Watch it if you are great fan of Posani.
