Toyota Etios is the new car from Toyota Kirloskar Motors India. It will be available in two variations:
Toyota ETIOS Hatchback
Toyota ETIOS Sedan
The Toyota ETIOS Hatchback is sporty and aggressive, it places global standard of quality & luxury within your reach. With top-of-its-class fuel economy and lifelong low maintenance costs, the ETIOS is the most affordable global quality compact car, to be made available first in India.
Initially the new Toyota Etios sedan will be launched in India by the ned of 2010 and the Toyota ETIOS Hatchback will be launched in couple of months after that.Toyota Etios will get the engines from Toyota’s Japan plant as the engine numbers were too small to produce them in India.
Toyota Etios Hatchback 1.2 L
Toyota Etios Sedan 1.5 L
The Toyota Etios hatchback would be powered by a 1.2 litre petrol engine and compete in the price range of the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Volkswagen Polo. The Toyota Etios sedan version will be powered by a 1.5 litre petrol engine would compete with the Tata Indigo Manza and the Maruti Swift Dzire.
Toyota Etios Diesel car may also be launched along with its Petrol version.
